This holds true for Eden Rooftop Café, which is tucked away in a secluded spot on the rooftop of Lot 10, offering a wonderful view of the KL Tower. Not to mention, it’s incredibly Instagram-worthy—perfect for flexing to your friends. The place is also affordable, with an Americano priced at just RM7, along with donuts and pastries that won’t break the bank.

Not only does this place offer a gorgeous skyline view of KL city, but the interior is also stunning with its Moroccan-themed rooftop café. As you enter, you’ll find a cave-like entrance leading to an outdoor dome seating area—perfect for bringing your café-hopping friends if you’re looking for a change. While the food is a little on the pricier side (I mean, you’re literally paying for a gorgeous view too!), the must-tries here are the truffle mushroom soup and the chicken roulade.

It’s even better at sunset or nighttime if you grab a seat outside. Just a heads-up: they don’t take reservations, only walk-ins, so come early if you want the best view!

4. Curio L5 Rooftop Cafe

This micro roastery cafe maybe have its footing in two places in KL city, but the one in Chinatown is immaculate with its stunning rooftop view with tons of greenery while you sip your coffee. You get view of skyscrapers as well as older city buildings. The best part is this place is it’s located in a private art museum and is only 3 minutes walk from the MRT Pasar Seni so it’s very convenient to get there. Most customers order their range of coffee and coffee mocktails like their Midsummer.

Curio L5 Rooftop Cafe

5. Hornbill Restaurant & Cafe

Located right next to the botanical garden inside KL Bird Park, this café lets you dine surrounded by nature—and if you’re lucky, you might even spot hornbills and other birds up close! It’s a popular spot among tourists, so the food prices are on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth it. Crowd favorites here include the chicken satay and the grilled chicken burger.

Located in Bukit Ampang, this restaurant offers one of the best panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur with a nature breezy air. This charming little place is actually part of a property showroom with this cafe attached to it. Best timing is to catch it during sunset all the way to their night view. Little Salty Cafe offers variety of western food from chicken chop, spaghetti carbonara, waffles, beef sliced sourdough sandwich and more.

You can sip on great coffee while lounging in a camping chair outdoors, surrounded by tall trees. The drink menu features everything from handcrafted coffees and cold brew lattes to matcha and more. Best part? Parking is free!

The closest view you can ever get to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers in this cute little cafe. Despite its location, the coffees and pastries here are affordably priced. There’s also savoury meals here if you’re planning to have a big appetite. It’s a very cozy cafe with spiral staircase that make its a super Instagram-worthy spot. Their must try here are their Butter Croissants, Double Mocha Java Chip and Macchiato Latte.

If dining on a hill surrounded by lush greenery sounds like your kind of café, then this hidden gem in Sungai Penchala is a must-visit! Getting there can be a little tricky—the roads are bumpy, dusty, and yes, there are quite a few mosquitoes—but it’s totally worth it for the fresh air and stunning forest views. It’s also home to the first-ever collagen café, alongside a variety of Western dishes to enjoy.

Manggis @Palimbayan Kitchen Kebun Tok Yad

10. Petra Pudu Rooftop Cafe                                                             

This rooftop café has been gaining popularity thanks to its vibes inspired by Jordan’s ancient city of Petra. From sandstone interiors to desert-themed decor, it’s located in the highest floor of a building in KL’s Pudu area with a view of Merdeka 118. The only downside? You need to climb four flights of stairs to enjoy the scenery, so if you’re not a fan of stairs, this might not be for you.  They offer a selection of handcrafted coffees, pastries, and even waffles.

Petra Pudu Rooftop Cafe
