There are a plethora of shopping malls in the Klang Valley, each of these malls have their own themes and each are equally mesmerising! It’s no wonder that netizens flood to shopping malls within the Klang Valley area to take some Instagram-worthy photos because these Christmas decorations will wow you! Here, we’ve listed 12 shopping malls that you have to visit because their decorations look amazing. We’ll let the photos speak for themselves!

1. Sunway Pyramid

This year, Sunway Pyramid brings The Great Christmas Market to life at their Blue Atrium. The theme for this decoration seems to be oozing German-Austrian market vibes because there are life-size German buildings that really set the scene like you’re walking in a German town during Christmas time.

Doesn’t the centrepiece of rotating Nutcrackers look stunning? It’s definitely a shot worthy for the gram’. Sunway Pyramid has also plenty of activities in store for customers and visitors to enjoy. 2. Suria KLCC

Suria KLCC features a little European village, plenty of sparkly Christmas trees, and a big ferris wheel at their concourse area this year. Their main concourse area is completely decked out that it looks like a Christmas Wonderland! There are plenty of spots to take great pictures that’ll be one for the books!

Suria KLCC’s theme for this year is a White Christmas (Christmas Wonders in White) and you can bet that you’ll spot plenty of snowmen all around their mall. Check out their Christmas video here. Plus, the tallest Christmas tree can be found at Suria KLCC and it is truly magnificent. Grab you friends and get your cameras ready because it’s a visual stunner.

According to Suria KLCC mall, their tree is the tallest in Malaysia being 100 feet in height. Besides that, this tree features 7,000 colourful baubles that are glossy and so pretty! Also, because this tree is situated outdoor and near the fountain area, you can bet that it’s also decorated with lights so make a trip down there at night to see the tree its in splendour.

3. 1 Utama Shopping Centre

The theme for 1 Utama Shopping Centre’s decorations this year is Whimsical Woodlands! Their festive decorations totally give off forestry vibes with their super pointy Christmas trees. There are so many of them, in different colors and sizes that the entirety of it is pretty picturesque!

Just like other malls, 1 Utama has plenty of festive activities for customers and visitors to participate in. Check them out here. Also at the main concourse area, there are plenty of goodies that you can check out from Kiehl’s, Pandora, and even Laduree. Time to treat your loved ones to festive goods!

4. Pavilion KL

Considering the fact that Pavilion KL is the most famous shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, it’s only fitting that we expect the best of Christmas decor from them and they certainly did not disappoint! Themed ‘A Starry Christmas’, the starry lights at Pavilion will leave you staring for long at their pretty lights!

Sure, breast cancer awareness month is over…but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a Pink Christmas. Pavilion KL features starry neon pink lights and a star-shaped pink light tree at their main entrance; courtesy of YSL and it makes the whole entrance pop with colour! And, it gets better at Pavilion because once you head into the mall, your eyes will be wowed by sparkling lights that seriously set the mood for the festive season.

The main central concourse area of the mall is having a major Star Wars Christmas going on and you can let your eyes wander to a replica of the Millennium Falcon that is incredibly cool! Christmas trees a beautifully decorated in red and blue colours to represent the Light and the Dark side and the entire area is so pretty!

Pavilion KL

5. Central i-City

It’s a Thai-inspired festive season at Central i-City with their Suk San Christmas! This mall features two large trees in their main concourse area with two other dome-like structures that are perfect for pictures! There are also more Christmas decors around the mall so be on the lookout for them.

More good news, the mall showers the main concourse area with snow at selected times! So, if you’re in luck, you’ll get to experience a snowy Christmas that will make you feel like you’re in winter wonderland. The stage area also features a giant Santa sledge that is great for pictures!

This year, The Gardens Mall is about to bring your holiday fantasies to real life with their ‘Christmas Dreaming’ theme at their mall. Because it is all about snow dust and white smoke clouds like you’re dreaming, expect to find a spectacular dreamy forest waiting for you!

Their Christmas Dreaming theme features pure-white winter animals that are hiding between snow-dusted pine trees. It’s an incredible snowy Christmas at The Gardens Mall because every tree is covered in white snow which makes the entire area looking like a Twilight forest (if you know what I mean). Check out their Christmas video here.

7. Berjaya Times Square

If there was only one other mall with absolutely stunning decor, it would be Berjaya Times Square. Believe me when I say that Berjaya Times Square really outdid themselves this year with their disco-vibes Christmas decor.

When you enter the mall through the main entrance and look to the ceiling, you’ll be amazed. Take a look at these jaw-dropping decorations that make you feel super festive! Take a good look at this disco-like baubles that are huge! These silver and red baubles hanging from the ceiling are certainly not to be missed, they’re lovely!

Berjaya Times Square certainly levelled up their game with this stunning Christmas decor at their shopping mall. Vincent Tan would be proud! The red, green, and silver colours of their decor really makes you feel like celebrating, doesn’t it?

8. Mid Valley Megamall

Mid Valley Megamall also spared no expense for their Christmas decorations this year. Following the theme of ‘Santa’s Toyland’, the megamall filled their decor with a bunch of wrapped present boxes and plenty of toys! Did we mention that there are also snuggly teddy bears around their decorations? They look so cuddly that you wouldn’t miss them!

Their Christmas decorations also feature plenty of photo spots where you can take pictures with oversized teddy bears! Be on the lookout for them and expect many people waiting in line because these bears look so cosy. It’s no wonder that everyone wants a picture with them!

9. Intermark Mall

Intermark Mall features lovely Poinsettia flowers that are usually used in Christmas floral displays. Their Christmas trees look extremely beautiful with colours of red, green, and gold. The gold ribbons that drape the trees make the whole setting look really grand.

The theme for Intermark Mall’s decorations is ‘A Christmas Town’. Their little town features a fountain-like decor in the centre and it’s super pretty! Their whole setup is so picturesque because there are even reindeer lights. It’s definitely worth visiting this mall to take some great photos.

Their trees are filled with so many different ornaments and there are stacks of presents beneath them. It totally feels like the festive season is already here.
