Boys Don’t Fry is a British-style cafe in Wisma Cosway KL that went viral on TikTok for its crispy fish and chips. 2. Edward’s Urban Fish & Chips

A crowd favourite among locals in Johor, they have recently opened its first outlet in KL. Diners can choose from Dory, Perch, or premium Barramundi – fried or grilled – served with three types of sauces, Spicy Herb, Tartar and Spicy Yogurt. 3. Cor Blimey! British Fish & Chips

Founded in 2016 by Englishman Adam Hanrahan, Cor Blimey! was born out of his search for proper British comfort food in Malaysia especially classic fish and chips done right. Unable to find the kind he missed from home, he decided to recreate it himself. The result? Lightly battered fish, chunky chips and mushy peas, just like how you’d get in the UK. Cor Blimey! was voted Best Fish & Chips in Malaysia in 2022 and 2025 by 10,000 expats through My Local British Shop.

5. SOODAAP Fish & Chips
Trained in Dublin, the chef behind it brought his love for Irish-style fish and chips back to Kajang, setting up a humble roadside stall that quickly went viral.
