Tuaran Mee refers to Sabah-made yellow noodles that uses only egg yolks. Like Kolo Mee to Sarawak, Char Koay Teow to Penang, Tuaran Mee is a dish that truly represents Sabah. The first spot that you have to visit in Sabah for their really good Tuaran Mee is none other than Seng Hing Kopitiam. In fact, they serve “Huang Jiu Tuaran Mee” here, the comforting Tuaran Noodle with a dash of Huang Jiu (yellow wine). This adds a sweet rice wine taste that elevates the noodles. Oh, and Seng Hing Kopitiam also serves Tom Yum Noodles that are worth trying too.

Basically, Roti Cobra is the common Roti Canai that’s served with a twist. Usually, it comes with a sunny-side-up egg, green beans, and a generous amount of meat as well as gravy.
