Connexion Conference & Event Centre (CCEC) is ushering in Ramadan Al-Mubarak this year with two exclusive promotions; a wholesome Ramadan buffet at The Oak room and the ever popular Buka Puasa Banquet package that is always available this time of the year. Take a trip down memory lane this holy month and enjoy over 60 varieties of traditional Malay cuisines from the various states of Malaysia that will surely tantalise your taste buds!
Ramadan All-You-Can-Eat Buffet at The Oak Room
CCEC is organising a new Ramadan buffet at the Oak Room for the first time ever! Starting from 9th May to 31st May 2019, everyone who decides to be a patron at their Ramadan buffet will be able to enjoy the Oak Room’s elegant design, tasteful furnishings, and inviting ambiance. CCEC’s former creative venue for business events and/or exclusive social gatherings will be transformed into a traditional rumah kampung. With this, guests can enjoy their food whilst basking in the nostalgia of the good-old days.
Brendon Lee, General Manager of CCEC, mentioned that their goal for bringing this new Ramadan buffet to us is to allow people to enjoy a fresh new place to buka puasa. He also said that he wants the general public to have a taste at what their chefs can do, especially since F&B has always been one of their selling points. He prided himself in CCEC’s ability to host large crowds while maintaining excellent standards in all other aspects.
Rambang Mata
The menu will be utilising fresh traditional spices and local ingredients to ensure the authenticity of the dining experience. Daging Bakar Bersos Percik, Paru Goreng Sambal Hijau, Gulai Kurma Kambing, and Ayam Bertutu are amongst the many Malay dishes on the buffet line-up. Chef Raja Romzi shared that the recipes for these dishes are passed down from his grandparents’ generation to him, and are usually only a cause for chatter of good food during this holy month.
To those of you with a sweet tooth, fret not! You may expect traditional sweet treats like Tapai Pulut and Tapai Ubi, as well as Bubur Butir Nangka and Pistachio Baklava among various other dessert delights. With live stalls as a prominent concept featured in this Ramadan buffet, guests can also enjoy servings of local authentic cuisines — Asam Laksa Sup Utara, Satay, Bubur Lambuk Ayam, Roti Arab, Aneka Ikan Bakar, and many more!
Buka Puasa Banquet With Connexion
Besides their Rasa-Rasa Ramadan buffet, from 6th of May to 5th of June 2019, corporate bookers and/or those with bigger groups of more than 50 people can plan ahead with CCEC’s Buka Puasa Banquet Package. Between large occasions brimming with grandeur and smaller interpersonal gatherings, CCEC has places suitable for all — 5 pillarless ballrooms, 15 function rooms, a junior ballroom, and a rather unique rooftop gazebo! This truly makes CCEC stand out as an all-in-one venue that breathes life into the events!
With a larger focus on traditional delicacies from the various states across the entirety of Malaysia, they have hence decided to name this Rasa-rasa Ramadan. Of course, they haven’t forgotten to include a selection of fusion and international eats that are sure to satisfy almost all spectrums of the palate. This year’s menu hosts a greater variety than ever with over 60 dishes and 6 live-action stalls — made possible with CCEC’s talented culinary team lead by their specialist Malay Chef, Chef Raja Romzi.

CCEC also offers Open House Banquet packages from 6th of June to 5th of July at RM120+ per person for a group of 50 people and above. All events will be allocated in the centre’s various function rooms for a more private and exclusive dining affair with friends, family, and/or business associates.
