HP Unveils New AI-Powered Desktop & Mobile Workstation, Perfect For Professionals and Creatives

Kuala Lumpur, 19 June 2025 – Today, HP Malaysia has launched two new products: the ZBook Ultra G1a laptop, HP’s most powerful 14″ mobile workstation, and the Z2 Mini G1a Workstation desktop PC, HP’s most powerful mini workstation. With up to 50TOPS NPU powered by AMD Ryzen T™ Al Max PRO processors, these next gen Al PCs enable professionals, businesses, and creatives achieve elevated performance, productivity, and creativity.

Both the HP ZBook Ultra G1a laptop and 22 Mini G1a Workstation desktop PCs were developed in collaboration with AMD to deliver next-gen Al performance and mobility in compact designs. The HP ZBook Ultra and HP Z2 Mini enable users to run complex workflows simultaneously such as 3D design, render graphics-intensive projects, and work locally with large language models (LLMs).

HP is transforming high-performance computers with innovations that provide cutting-edge hardware and solutions for today’s workforce. Seventy-five per cent of product designers believe that current computing technology cannot meet their multi-software requirements, while workstation users desire smaller and lighter devices.

As part of the launch event, HP hosted a fireside chat to spotlight the evolving needs of modern creators and professionals. Moderated by Chris MJ, the session brought together industry changemakers-Shermaine Wong, CEO and co-founder of Cult Creative; Ar. Azlan Syarawi Mokhtar Bajunid, seasoned local architect and Co-Director of the KL Architectural Festival 2025 and Tarun Relhan, Head of Advanced Compute Solutions (ACS) for Greater Asia, HP Inc. The panel explored how Al-powered tools like the new HP ZBook are transforming creative workflows and productivity, reinforcing HP’s commitment to empowering professionals to thrive in an increasingly Al-driven world.
