This year, celebrate a Fantastic October with a lineup of super fun events at The School and The Square hosted by Jaya One Shopping Centre. Fantastic October Halloween Event At Jaya One From 4 October to 20 October 2019
Fantastic October is a 17-day Magical Halloween Festival event at The School and The Square at Jaya One from 4th to 20th of October 2019. Jaya One is hosting several activities and events. So, read more below for the event and activity lineup. There is something for your kids, for yourself, and even for your elderly folks!
Shop and Redeem
If you love to shop, you should shop at Jaya One and get rewards! You can earn Gold Coins in their Shop and Redeem activity to exchange coins for gifts. Spend a minimum of RM50 from The School and The Square and collect those Gold Coins!
Here’s how the Gold Coins work:
- RM50-RM99: 1 Gold Coin
- RM100-RM199: 2 Gold Coins
- RM200-RM399: 3 Gold Coins
- RM400-RM599: 4 Gold Coins
- RM600 & above (F&B only): 1 Golden Ticket
*15 Gold Coins = 1 Golden Ticket
When you collect enough coins, you can claim your gift! So, the more coins you earn, the greater the rewards and the prize you get!
Terms & Conditions:
- Purchases must be made in a single receipt at any outlet at The School & The Square only.
- Not valid for purchases from promotional areas, food trucks, bazaars or tenants at Jaya One.
- Accumulation of receipts is not permitted.
- Gold Coin Redemption must be made within the same date of purchase.
- Customer can accumulate Gold Coins for gift exchange within 5th Oct – 20th Oct 2019.
- The School info counter: 10am-8pm; The Square redemption counter: 7pm-12pm (20th Oct till 6 pm only)
- All gifts are valid while stock lasts. Once gifts are fully redeemed, shoppers will need to choose for alternative gifts.

Mystic Arts And Magic
In the 17-day festival, there are three activities under the Mystic Arts and Magic event. You can participate and check out these activities every Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to 6PM. These events are at The School by Jaya One.
Kids Apprentice Quest
Kids can now enter the magical world and learn to be an apprentice for just RM20! Your kids can play up to 8 games with the apprentice pass. Upon completion of all games, they are entitled to the following:
- FREE 1 x 4R photo print (memories!)
- FREE 2 x round trip tickets of Jaya One Express (in-mall sightseeing tour)
- FREE 1 x Butter Beer (yummms!)
- FREE 1 x Magical Wand (for their inner witches and wizards!)
Alternatively, parents can buy 3 passes for RM50 and enjoy all the different activities in 3 weeks!
- 1st week: Creepy Crawly – Tarantula Spider, Horned Frog, Blue Tongue Skink, Scorpion (Escape Room, Witch Pot, Board Games, Touch The Item and etc)
- 2nd week: Science Workshop (Soap Making Workshop, Catapult, Moving Ghost, Mystery Pumpkin and etc)

Hop on the Jaya One Express train ride because you can now get a top sightseeing tour of Jaya One! Buy your ticket at RM10 that is valid for a two-way ride.
Butter Beer
This October for Halloween, prepare yourselves for a weekend of Butter Beer and magic! This is definitely for Harry Potter fans because Tommy ThongChai is hosting a workshop where you can learn how to make your own Butter Beer. If you’re keen to try Butter Beer, make sure you head to Jaya one because it is only available every Saturday at 3PM and there is a maximum of 10 pax per session only. Beer Festival and Mystic Beast
As for adults, you can enjoy craft brews with live bands in a fun festival environment! Besides that, there are numerous free games for you to play and enjoy. Games include Giant Jenga, Snake & Ladder, Giant Beer Pong and much more! In addition, Jaya One has invited a street magician to deliver close-up magic around The Square. Isn’t that exciting?
