Malaysian MARA Graduate Is Employed As A Robotics Instructor At TESLA

The past weekend has given us ample reasons to be proud Malaysians. Firstly, Datuk Mohd Azizulhasni Awang has brought home a silver medal at the Olympics 2020. Then, there is the Paralympics that we can all look forward to. Another reason that we can be proud of is that this Malaysian MARA graduate, Fakhirah Khairuddin is employed by TESLA as a Technical Training Robotics Engineering Instructor.

Malaysian Graduate Employed By TESLA As Robotics Instructor

Fakhirah was from Alor Setar, Kedah. She was a first batch student at MRSM Ulul Albab in Kota Putra, Terengganu. After graduating from MARA, she went on to pursue Aerospace Engineering at the University of California San Diego. This was sponsored by MARA.

Then, she took up Masters in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, San Diego (sponsored by the University). And now, she is based in Freemont, California, and is a Technical Training Robotics Engineering Instructor at TESLA.

Additionally, a post by Richard Ker stated that Fakhirah is well-equipped with the following technical experience:

  • Propulsion Development Engineer at the University of California; where she wrote Matlab codes to study heat conduction of a rocket engine.
  • She won first place in the Northrop Grumman System Engineering Challenge 2019 competing with 50 other teams; her winning project was a robotic arm that she designed and programmed.
  • A team lead and spearheaded the research development of a Hexacopter Project with the University of California, San Diego.
  • Designed a quadcopter, sensor casing, and landing gear on Solidworks, demonstrated new concepts through 3D print testing, and improved the designs through iterations.

There are more than these which are really admirable. Congratulations Fakhirah! You have made your country and Malaysians extremely proud.
