Get It Before It's Too Late

News broke over the past weekend that one of our go-to-supermarkets, Tesco is officially rebranding to Lotus’s. Many questions have popped up since then, especially over the availability of some of our favourite Tesco products. Just before it’s too late to see them ever again, here’s one product that’s been right under our noses all this time!

So You Can Have Curly Fries Anytime, Anywhere

Mention “curly fries” and McDonald’s curly fries come to mind. But with it being available for a limited time only, you’re bound to miss it after CNY season. Little did we know, Tesco also produces its own brand of curly fries that looks and taste similar to Mekdi’s!

Hidden in plain sight at the frozen food aisle, Tesco Curly Fries retails at RM12.99 and can feed up to 5 pax/per pack. Also it’s produced in the Netherlands and it’s actually suitable for vegans too! Lightly spiced with mild spice blend for extra flavour, it definitely smells similarly peppery upon the first whiff.

Here’s How To Prepare Tesco Curly Fries Using The Oven

  1. Pre-heat oven at 220°C
  2. Take out curly fries from freezer (don’t have to defrost it)
  3. Spread fries in a single layer on a baking tray
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes, take out tray and turn the fries halfway through cooking.

Don’t have an oven at home? Fret not – just use your trusty air fryer! Fry them for 6 – 8 minutes instead and shake your fries once halfway through cooking. Remember not to over stack the fries if you want an even result!

Do You Like Your Fries Curly Or Straight?

It won’t be a surprise that these Tesco Curly Fries will not be continued to be sold in the long run. However, just like any other Tesco brand products, they are still in stock in the meantime. According to Tesco online, there’s still stock for it so curly fries fans can get it while you can! Have you tried it? Let us know in the comments below!
