Hidden but meant to be found. Tucked in a quiet neighbourhood, Sunday Coffee is a new cafe specializes in coffee, cakes and homemade loaf. Their menu covers the basic grounds but it is done perfectly, highlighting their very own Fat White Toast on most of the breakfast and brunch meals.

A must-try is the Tamagoyaki Sando. The thick tamagoyaki laced with hints of sweetness, coated with lightly crisp golden crumbs, sandwiched within two Sunday Fat White. Once you try it, you will love it! Not to mention, Sunday’s simple and classy interior will make you feel like home!

2. RAGE Coffee

Specialising in espresso and matcha drinks, RAGE Bangsar offers you a space to relax, rage and unwind. Their brand new space is absolutely welcoming, and not to mention Instagram-worthy with different types of furniture that make perfect sense together.

Coffee can be exciting too, with their place they’ve made it possible for us to work diligently and also play hard with their amusing set-up. Maybe, it’s time to let out some steam at their punching bag corner?

The BRGR is a brand new kid on the block at Setapak that serves more than 10 types of mouth-wateringly burgers; each being inspired by a certain country. A must-order is the signature Triple Cheese Burger which comes in both chicken and Australian beef. The patty is juicy and delicious in house prepared daily, and topped with three different special cheese! So sinful so good, that is exactly how cheeseburgers should be!

Not forgetting their Australia Soft Shell Crab Burgers is very good as well. The bun is pillowy soft, and everything is made from scratch. Plus, there’s a good char on the soft shell crab and the burnt crispy bits give the burger some added texture. Are you salivating, yet?

Bunch is a new food hall that takes creativity and comfort to a whole new level. Upon entering, you’ll find yourself sitting under a glass roof that allows sunlight to phase through and light up the interior without a slip of heat. This lovely space is house to various cafes with a different concept, ranging from My Elephant to The Owls Cafe to Forty Licks, you’ll find something for everyone under one very Instagrammable roof.

Saychiizu is the new addition to the Mid Valley Megamall, serving some kickass Hokkaido cheese toasts and drinks. Originated from Thailand, their best seller has got to be the Rainbow Cheese Toast, super stretchy with not a drop of colouring added into the formula. Other impressive flavours they offer are the Milo Cheese Toast and Oreo Cheese Toast. First one ever spotted in Malaysia, so what are you waiting for?

8. Chye Seng Foo Coffee Shop

Going to Chye Seng Foo feels like you’ve just entered grandma’s home. Pulling up in our area with their brand new outlet located in Cheras, a cup of BlackBall bubble tea will make your worries go away. Their BlackBall Classics does remind of us the main dessert from the mother outlet, Blackball.

It comes with grass jelly, with boba, red beans, and taro balls on sticks as toppings. Not to mention, the taste alongside its look gives a sense of satisfaction to tummies and it’s really Instagrammable!
