10 Spots To Sate Your Stomach Post-Twilight Near Damansara

1. Brader John

by @ iam_yiping (Instagram)

We’ve featured Brader John on our Facebook post before. They don’t simply slap on some bread, tomatoes, and patties onto a plate, even if that’s the most time-efficient way to serve the large crowds that start to form even before opening hours. In fact, when you sink your teeth into their burgers, you’ll start singing high praises along with the choir of angels in your head. Do remember to wash your hands before you eat – even the most sophisticated of burger-lovers will lap the special sauce right off their palms!

2. Murni SS2

by Aaron Chin

While not exactly being in Damansara, Murni is well worth the extra mile. The local people would definitely agree, as evident by the large crowds ever present at the mamak stalls. With their large variety of food (over 50 variants of Mee Raja alone!), your palate will be sated one way or another. Murni is famed for a number of things, including its delectably affordable and MASSIVE portions of food. In fact, be wary of your orders. “Pictures are for illustration purposes only” – There’s more than meets the eye!

That’s right, you’re seeing it here again. You’ve probably heard of this place on multiple counts, be it from food articles, food blogs, the news, or your friends. It really does live up to the hype. 5. Waneeda Tomyam

by @ khai2509 (Instagram)

For those of you who love Thai cuisine, this is definitely a place not to be missed. Usually a very busy restaurant at night, they sell a large variety of rather affordable yet incredibly delicious Thai food, be it ala carte or dishes. In fact, some say Waneeda Tom Yam prepare better food here in Malaysia than other restaurants do in Thailand! An honourable mention has to be made to their Mango Sticky Rice. The sweet and warmed coconut milk, when poured over their glutinous rice, goes into your mouth with a soothing, warm, and sweet sensation – It’s the exact combination you need for a fulfilled night’s sleep.

8. Hayaki

by @ nurhayatiabdmalek (Instagram)

Hayaki has been mentioned before in one of our previous posts. Personally, we feel it’s one of the more underrated places in Damansara. Hayaki has promotions rather often, which has lured us to try more and more of their food, and we have to say that their Nasi Kerabu (amongst many other things) is one of the best we’ve ever eaten. Even without promotions and deals, the prices of food here are still affordable. The staff here are friendly, quick at their job, and keep the place rather clean. Hayaki has both a smoke-free and air-conditioned seating area, as well as an open-air outdoor seating. A rather enjoyable meal for anytime of the day!
