There are many great stores around Kuala Lumpur that sells Christmas ornaments. Hunt for the perfect ornaments at your nearest shopping mall. A cheaper alternative for Christmas decorations will be in Daiso, and MR. DIY. Don’t forget to stop by Sephora to bring home some make up in cute ornaments packaging!

2. Shop During Black Friday

Confused between Black Friday and Boxing Day? We’ll tell you! Black Friday is regarded as the first day of Christmas shopping season, on which retailers make many special offers. They had us at offers! As for Boxing Day, is the day after Christmas, and there will be special offers, too! Don’t we all love Christmas! This year around, Black Friday will commence on the 23rd November 2018. Check out online stores such as Zalora for clothes, Lazada for everything, and Sephora for makeup!

Swish, swish! It couldn’t get any more Christmas vibes than this. In Christmas movies, you will always see a scene of people ice skating around a gigantic Christmas tree. And, let be there be snow! Unfortunately, we do not have snow in Malaysia but let’s make the best of it! Unless you visit Snow World in Resorts World Genting! Lucky for everyone, there are many ice skating rinks scattered around in the Klang Valley. Check out the ol’ but gold Sunway Pyramid Ice, located in Sunway Pyramid. An alternative will be Icescape Ice Rink, located in 101 City Mall.

4. Organize A Secret Santa Gift Exchange

To bring the Christmas spirit to work, start a Secret Santa in the office! How does it work? Write down everyone’s name in pieces of paper and place it into a Christmas hat. Mix it up, and let everyone pick a name from the Christmas hat! Don’t tell anyone the name! The person is now responsible to buy a Christmas gift for the name selected. 6. Feast On A Christmas Buffet

Just thinking about the Christmas feast makes all of us super excited. Tender cuts of roasted turkey drizzled with cranberry sauce! Side dishes of roasted potatoes that will melt in your mouth! Lastly, all the desserts such as bread pudding, and gingerbread man! However, we are not so sure about how a movie about stealing Christmas will make you feel about Christmas. Apart from that, you can watch other Christmas movies on Netflix! Tune into the iconic How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, Dear Santa, and many more! These films will surely put you in the best mood.

8. Do A Generous Act

It is also the season to help others in need! There are a few ways that you can help the others during this season. You can head down to Book Xcess to purchase a book for the underprivileged, and Book Xcess will match yours! Apart from that, there are many organisations that you reach out to help others. In the month of December, you can check out The Night Market Before Christmas, an event filled with crafts, music, food, and beverages happening on the 6th of December. Lastly, you go to Sunny Side Up Market Christmas Edition filled with homegrown brands happening on the 15th to 16th December. Sounds like it is going to be a jolly time!

10. Organize A Christmas Party

Christmas buffets can be very expensive. An alternate way to bring all your friends and family together is through a Christmas party! Check out major supermarkets such as Jaya Grocer, Cold Storage, and Tesco to find everything you will possibly need to whip up an amazing Christmas feast! Take up the notch and purchase a bottle of wine for the adults, and perhaps bottles of Butter Beer for the children to enjoy. Don’t forget to get some candies as well! Christmas isn’t complete without some candy canes on the table.
