1. Kooky Cream
First thing you’ll notice when you’re within a mile from the cafe would be their gigantic logo of a cute girl sticking out her tongue, how adorable! Opening the door to the cafe, you’ll be greeted with planters, providing cosy vibes that make you feel right at home. Brimming in a myriad of choices when it comes to their menu, do expect their cakes to be ever-changing. Totally recommended!

2. KITA Coffee
This is the place to be if you’re looking for a break from the usual hectic lifestyle of the city. Managed by a group of passionate baristas, KITA Coffee offers great coffee, the perfect formula for starting the day in the right direction! To add, their healthy vegetarian meals are so excellently done, you’d find yourself going back for more. Order their signature Barista Curry Rice for a heart-warming meal, sporting of vegetables in aromatic Japanese curry served with a crack of coffee powder!

3. What’s On Tap, Mont Kiara
Up next, yet another lovely cafe you cannot miss out on, none like the other. They think that white is the most beautiful canvas to be used as a backdrop to showcase a piece of exquisite art. In their case, it is their coffee that takes the centre stage in your coffee-drinking experience. 4. The Public House KL
All they’ve ever received since they’re in operation is nothing short of an amazing response, their menu showcases food from both the western to Asian flavours, made possible by bringing together the freshest produce in the region. The most impressive thing they got going on has to be their wine selections, made possible thanks to the Vintry Group’s reputation as one of the best wine purveyors in town. No need to fret over what to eat for lunch later as we got your back with Momochan, a newly opened Japanese restaurant that’s value-for-the-money and affordable. Head on over during the weekdays to enjoy their generously portioned bento sets. Maybe you’re one who enjoys the sensation of slurping on al dente noodles, then look to their bowl of slurp-worthy noodles with housemade dashi broth and either tempura chicken or vegetables!

6. All Day Polo Bun
Come on foodies, repeat after me, “POLO BUN ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!” Not exactly the usual polo bun you’re expecting, they one-up others by replacing the usual butter with never-seen-before ingredients in a polo bun like luncheon meat and a fried egg. Surprisingly, they go really well together with the buns, bringing both sweetness and saltiness into the painting. Don’t forget to order their milk tea for a full-on experience!

7. Peko Peko TTDI
Honestly, Japanese fans, you guys are wayyy too lucky to be able to enjoy 2 brand new Japanese restaurants in town. This is another awesome Japanese restaurant to behold, serving only the very best authentic Japanese cuisine. Even though they’ve just opened not long ago, we heard that people are already raving about their thick-cut sashimi. They said it’s one of the SHIOKEST sashimis they’ve ever tasted, why not try it for yourself?
