Mad Hatter Afternoon Tea by the Andaman Sea
The Queen of Hearts would certainly approve of this delectable afternoon tea that pays homage to Lewis Carroll’s beloved tale, with sweets and savories inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Using herbs grown in the resort’s own Nibong Garden, gather with your loved ones at either the adults-only Horizon bar or family-friendly The Beach Grill and begin your afternoon with the likes of Mustard Glazed Lamb on Ciabatta or Candied Carrot Gazpacho with Microgreens and Andaman Lobster, before feasting on The Rabbit, a bite-sized carrot cake adorned with lemon cream cheese frosting and a chocolate rabbit, or the Queen of Hearts herself, represented as a raspberry chocolate mousse topped with a vibrant red chocolate hart.
A spring favorite, strawberries are incorporated into the set in the form of freshly baked Strawberry Scones, accompanied by traditional clotted cream and strawberry preserve. With four savory and five sweet treats presented beautifully against the backdrop of the Andaman Sea, guests can further elevate their Easter experience by opting to pair it with a glass of champagne or select TWG tea.
The Mad Hatter Afternoon Tea is available daily throughout April, from 2. 00pm to 5.00pm at Horizon and The Beach Grill, retailing at MYR 220 per set or MYR 500 per set inclusive of two glasses of champagne. Each set is suitable for two persons.
East Meets West with Easter Dim Sum
Much like Alice’s amazement when she saw the beauty and unique scenery and creatures of Wonderland, the Easter-themed dim sum sets the scene for an unforgettable meal. Set at Hai Yan, Langkawi’s only modern Chinese restaurant, dim sum chef Kit Wong presents a medley of handmade bites, from the bunny-shaped Har Kao (prawn dumplings) to crunchy carrot-shaped Ham Sui Gok (fried glutinous rice dumplings filled with beef), to multi-colored Xiao Long Bao, to an adorable bunny-shaped custard mochi and much more.
Look no further than Hai Yan for a non-traditional Easter meal with a twist that the whole family will enjoy.
Easter Dim Sum Delights is available only on 20 April 2025, from 6.30PM to 10.30PM at Hai Yan, retailing at MYR 250 per person.
Floral Fantasy at The Ritz-Carlton Spa
