AirAsia’s Logistics Service, Teleport Ready To Deliver Vaccines
We all know AirAsia with its infamous tagline, now everyone can fly. And Teleport is none other than the logistics venture of AirAsia Digital since 2018. As announced on AirAsia’s newsroom, Teleport is ready to support the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines.
Early in the year, Teleport was one of the first to charter cargo-only flights to deliver medical aid and protective equipment to hospitals and frontliners in major cities. Even when international borders remain closed for travellers, Teleport was out and about providing aid to fellow frontliners.
This time around, they’re back at it again as they will be providing support to the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
A Support Like No Other
According to Teleport CEO, Pete Chareonwongsak, he said that “Distributing vaccines is a global imperative that can bring back a global economic recovery as well as the revival of demand in the aviation and travel industry.”
