Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – August 21, 2024 – Get ready for a two-day celebration of bartending excellence at BARSTARS 2024, brought to you by The Orientalist Spirits! This 23 and 24 August, Penrose (ranked 8th) and Reka:Bar (ranked 41st), from Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, will host an unparalleled festival of Asia’s top bartenders in Kuala Lumpur, the final Asian stop of their global tour.
BARSTARS is a tribute to the artistry and innovation of Asia’s leading bartenders. This festival-vibe occasion will spotlight 16 of Asia’s best bartenders. The first night of the festival features Kiki Moka from The Cocktail Club, Indonesia, and Kai Ng from Quinary, Hong Kong as well as Naz Zurmi from Sago House, Singapore. On the second and final night, guests will be treated to exclusive creations from two of Malaysia’s finest bartenders, Tai Yong from Budi Melaka and Thanesh J Kumar from Backdoor Bodega.
