Located amidst the mother area of most cafes and restaurants, this ice creamery lures its customers with their wide range of flavours and their hot piping waffles. Customers can choose from the classic run-of-the-mill flavours to some of the Malaysian favourites like durian and yam flavours.

Other than that, their Belgian waffles are made from scratch and are served in buttermilk flavours and charcoal flavours. The Salted Egg Yolk Waffles is must-try for foodies who are planning to visit this place and it goes perfectly well with Peanut Butter ice cream! The ice cream sells at RM 8.00 for a regular scoop, RM 12.80 for a double scoop and RM 17.50 for a regular triple scoop.

Well known for their delicate and elegant souffle, Wild Sheep Chase is definitely one of the artisan cafes to look out for! Foodies will get to enjoy their Vanilla Souffle in a serene and tranquil environment, making the experience better than expected.

Their Vanilla Souffle, which sells at RM 15, comes with a choice of Orange syrup or the Osmanthus syrup and is served with a small scoop of grapefruit sorbet. What’s more? This place also offers a variety of Taiwanese milk tea so be sure to try their Earl Grey Milk Tea when you pop by! Be sure to fill your tummies with a hearty meal before popping by as some items on the menu are only baked upon ordering.

Foodies can try a variety of crepe cake flavours ranging from Tiramisu, Mango, Chocolate and many more from a price as low as RM10 per slice (prices vary according to flavours). 4. Tiny Temptress

Love getting desserts that are cute and pleasing to look at? Tiny Temptress offers desserts that will satisfy those criterias. This place specializes in macarons but also offer other desserts such as their lemon meringue tart, bear shaped cakes and brulee marshmallow ice cream. Macarons continues to be the crowd’s favourites, selling at a price as low as RM 6 with various flavours like lychee rose, kaffir lime, passion fruit and dark chocolate.

One of the must-try flavours is the salted egg yolk macaron as it does not taste like your usual lao sar bao but instead, it is more sweet than savoury. Another recommended item is their Bear Necessity cake that is filled with oolong mousse and passion fruit ganache, layered with a biscuit base. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

5. Rubberduck Cafe

Located in Sri Hartamas is a cafe that is known to serve some of the best pastries and cakes. Their best seller includes the Lemon Tart, selling at RM12, and the Beetroot Cupcake,selling at RM10.

The presentation of the Beetroot Cupcake would steal the hearts of the instagrammers as it is served with a nice golden finish on the top, making it look unique from most cakes. The cake itself is also moist and has a rich depth of flavour. The Lemon Tart on the other hand is rich and balanced with lemon custard cream with a crumbly base, making the flavors so distinguishable that one bite would not be enough to satisfy your taste buds! Be sure to also try their mango and chia seed puddings as well as their fluffy madeleines.

7. Hail’s Soft Serve

Are you into the soft serve hype? Then swirl on over to Hail’s Soft Serve to get your share on some of their unique soft serve flavours! The soft serves here have a smooth and airy texture, making it different from your regular ice cream and their signature is the pink peppercorn flavour which taste like berries with a slight peppery finish.

You can choose to have the soft serve on it’s own (RM8.50+) or in as a sundae such as their Nyonya Delight combination – comes with sago pearls, coconut flakes and Gula Melaka – which sells at RM14+. 7. Miru Dessert Cafe

Looking for something different from the regular waffles and pancakes? Head on over to Miru Dessert Cafe to try their Japanese style Shibuya Honey Toast! It is served in small cubes with two scoops of Vanilla Ice cream and some whip cream on the side for dipping. Foodies have the option to add syrup to the toast to get a sweeter taste.

Not a fan of honey? No problem! Check out their other toast:  Matcha Toast, Nutty Toast, Pandan Coconut Toast, Cheddar Cheese Toast, Chocolate Strawberry Toast, Hazelnut Toast and Chocolate Banana Toast. Foodies should also try the Frozen Yogurt from this cafe as they also specialize in making froyo. It has three types of flavours, namely the Tangy Peachy, Frozen Mango and Very Berry. Everything in this cafe is priced reasonably below RM 20!

8. P.S Tokyo

Located amongst the hustle and bustle of Damansara Uptown, this place is perfect for those who are craving for a taste of Japanese soft serve flavours. P.S Tokyo gives a unique Japanese experience and serves quality Japanese drinks and desserts. Their soft, creamy yet airy textured soft serves are what draws locals to the place and it is sold at RM 9.90 so be sure to try their Hojicha and Matcha flavoured soft serves when you pay them a visit!

P.S Tokyo also offers a unique selection of cakes such as Tofu Cheesecake, Sesame Tofu Cheesecake, Matcha Milk Chocolate Cake and Soft Cheesecake and they are all priced below RM 15! Each cake are unique and rich in their own flavours and P.S Tokyo also does a great job of nailing the texture of each cake so it is definitely worth a try!

9. Kakigori

A shaved ice dessert would be perfect for our Malaysian weather. Designed like an ice factory with a garden structure and skylight shining from the top, this place serves ten varieties of shaved ice desserts with specially produced ice, up to three layers of homemade syrups and purees as well as special additions such as Marukyu-Koyamaen matcha from Kyoto, ginger syrup made with Bentong ginger and more.

This Japanese traditional summer dessert only uses natural ingredients and it is offered in many flavours such as uji matcha, hojicha and Japanese pumpkin with burnt caramel. However, foodies should try some of their more adventurous combinations such as guava, shoyu and ginger toufu. Each kakigori are priced reasonably below RM20! Can’t stand the heat? Head on over now!

Located in Publika Shopping Gallery, this place is known to serve desserts that will make you experience true “death by chocolate”. This place specialized in chocolate flavoured desserts and the crepe selection is one of the highlights of this place. Some of the recommended dishes include the Brownies Crepe or Chocolate Crepe. The crepe has a soft and smooth texture and is layered with sinfully thick chocolate that makes the dish irresistible.

Don’t worry foodie, the chocolate is made from high-quality cocoa ingredients and the sweetness of it is not as overpowering as compared to the typical chocolate you find outside. You also have the option to add a scoop of ice cream to complete your chocolate indulgence. What’s more? The presentation of the chocolate dishes here are totally insta-worthy! The prices of the desserts here range from RM12.90 to RM69.00. It is definitely the perfect place if you’re all about chocolate!
