Hello, our dearest foodies! With the previous announcement made to extend our MCO, our government has been reinforcing more laws and stricter rules. If you’re wondering what they are, here is a piece of important news to note. As we soon enter our second phase of MCO on April 1st, all supermarkets, eateries, petrol stations and delivery services nationwide will only operate from 8AM to 8PM.
All Markets, Eateries And Petrol Stations To Operate From 8AM – 8PM
As the government and public sectors serve to control the spread of Covid-19, many of us are encouraged to stay at home. However, with the news of more cases surfacing each day, the government is now releasing a new rule to all eateries, supermarkets, petrol stations. That is, the operating hours for all these services will be curfewed to 8AM – 8PM!
Starting From 1st April, all business premises and stores nationwide will only operate from 8AM to 8PM. This includes services such as restaurants, hawker stalls, hypermarkets, supermarkets, petrol stations and food delivery services! So if you need to grab any food or groceries, make sure to visit the stores within the mentioned operating hours!
The Second Phase of MCO Starts From 1st April
With the second phase of MCO starting in just a few days, Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob also mentioned that there will be more enforcements and roadblocks to check on the movement of the people. So we recommend everyone to stay home unless there is a reasonable excuse to leave your house. Anyways, we hope everyone stays safe during this period and see you in the next post!
