Adorned with green, blue, orange, red and yellow lights, this vibrant flat went viral on TikTok after being shared by user Firdaus Eusope. Shining brightly and adding a joyous atmosphere to enliven the night, the 34 seconds video showed 15 floors being lit up in the Flat Kampung Melayu, which captivated onlookers with a festive Raya spirit.
Everyone in the building joined in by decorating their corridors and balconies with the lights to make each of their flats more lively and exciting for the soon approaching Raya celebrations. The festive lights turned all the flats into something truly wonderful to see!
Firdaus mentioned that the lights were sponsored by a philanthropist and businessman named Datuk Seri Salim Abdul Rahman who often funds many community activities at the building.
The video has currently garnered over 156,700 views on TikTok and had thousands of excited Malaysians flooding the comments to express their happiness and amazement over the colourful festive lights.
