Can't Say No To KBBQ

Annyeong, foodies! Can’t ever get enough of the sizzling grilled meat of KBBQ? Or is it the spicy kimchi and variety of banchan you can’t help refilling again and again? This KBBQ restaurant in Kota Damansara has been serving authentic KBBQ ever since 2007 now and here’s why you should head there if you haven’t already been.

All About KBBQ At Daorae Kota Damansara

Daorae’s set menu is just perfect for you and your friends and family, especially if you go in groups of 3 or more! Their most basic set menu feeds up to 4 pax but honestly we think it can feed up to 5 or 6 pax even. Looking at their basic 3-4 pax set menu, there’s five different types of meat – pork special, pork belly, pork shoulder, pork ribs and chilli marinated pork belly. All of which is served with lots of banchan (side dishes) and refillable fresh veggies.

Besides, the set menu also comes with a huge vegetable pancake and kimchi hotpot with ramen, thick slabs of pork and lots of veggies. No doubt, your tummy will get filled up easily with this! If you’re still craving for more meat, then you can go for their ala carte premium meats and seafood as well. From Australian lamb to U.S beef, enjoy fresh quality meats, most of which are marinated in house with special Daorae sauce and Korean ginseng.

Signature Korean Dishes To Enjoy As Well

Aside from the meat galore of KBBQ here, Daorae Kota Damansara also has a huge variety of authentic Korean delights for you to feast on. One dish you must not miss out on is their Mandu-Jeongol (dumpling soup). Huge house-made kimchi and pork dumplings are served in a light and savoury soup. A hearty yet healthy dish for many to enjoy – perfect for rainy days!

Other must-try signatures here include Naengmyeon (cold noodles) and Bo Ssam, sliced boiled pork served with oyster kimchi. The cold noodle Kimchi Mari Guksu is just great to enjoy in Malaysia’s hot weather, surprisingly a great combo with the veggies and kimchi the wheat noodle is served with!

Side Dishes All Made In House, Including Oyster Kimchi

With operations of at least 15 years, many returning customers just can’t get enough of Daorae KD’s banchan (side dishes)! Here’s a little wide-known secret – everything is made fresh in-house, including their kimchi. So buckle up and get a dose of their kimchi (as well as oyster kimchi) here!

A Huge Range Of Korean Alcoholic Drinks

You know what’s the best when having hot grilling Korean barbecued meat? A refreshing drink of Korean famous rice wine! If you’re up for it, they have a wide range of alcoholic drinks from Korea. From Makgeolli to Soju, and even O Ship Sae Ju – a combination of soju and Baek Sae Ju in an iced chill bottle!
