- PM Muhyiddin Yassin announces that dine-in is now allowed for fully vaccinated individuals (two complete doses) residing in states under Phase 2 and Phase 3 only.
- Vaccinated individuals with vaccines from Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, Sinovac that requires two (2) doses will only be considered fully vaccinated after 14 days.
- Vaccinated individuals with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine that requires one (1) dose will only be considered fully vaccinated after 28 days.
- Dine-in will be allowed starting 10 August 2021.
- The Prime Minister urges restaurant and eatery owners to ensure that customers are able to present their Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (2 complete) doses before entering the premises.
- In addition, the Prime Minister urges the public to dine-in only when needed and continue to takeaway food or get food delivery.

- Vaccines include (14 days after 2 complete doses): Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, Sinovac
- Vaccine (28 days after 1 complete dose): Johnson & Johnson
- Fully-vaccinated parents are allowed to bring children under age 17 to dine-in but most adhere to strict SOP
