“Eat Healthy, Taste Italy” Fair Has More Than 600 Authentic Italian Products
Italian cuisine is one of the most renowned in the world, and this fair is certainly proving its point. Located in Bangsar Village Grocer, the “Eat Healthy, Taste Italy” fair holds over 600 Italian goods and is ongoing from now until the 20th of March.
Authentic Italian food has been growing for centuries and is deeply cultured with strong heritage, keeping the genuine taste of what Mother Nature has to offer (with sophistication). It aims to raise awareness for Malaysians regarding Italian products through annual events/fairs, in order to showcase the best of what they can offer.
Italian food lovers can now anticipate more than 600 authentic Italian food products as the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) launches Eat Healthy, Taste Italy Fair at Village Grocer Bangsar Village I in collaboration with The Food Purveyor (TFP), Ben’s Independent Grocer (B.I.G.), BSC Fine Foods and Leisure Grocer.
Discover A Variety Of Italian Goods
The Eat Healthy, Taste Italy Fair allows shoppers and food lovers to discover the Italian culinary culture – a healthy Mediterranean diet that’s essential to the Italian lifestyle.
The fair displays a plethora of authentic Italian products such as coffee, olive oil, pasta and chocolates.
More items include cheese, truffle butter, and an assortment of Italian wine.
Officiated by His Excellency Massimo Rustico, Ambassador of Italy in Malaysia, he states that through this fair, customers in Malaysia are able to comprehend the taste and difference in the quality between authentic Italian brands and those who mimic them instead.
“Linguine al pesto” is a solid recommendation by His Excellency to replicate at home.
During the fair, cooking demonstrations will be held over the weekends at Village Grocer Bangsar Village, Village Grocer EkoCheras, B.I.G.IPC, B.I.G. Publika and BSC Fine Foods by award-winning chefs.
Italian trade commissioner Dr Filippo Fusaro also added that this is the most diverse Italian food fair by ITA, introducing a taste of authentic Italy to Malaysians. Customers will be able to obtain products at promotional prices via this fair.

Whip Up An Authentic Italian Home-Cooked Meal
With plans to go nationwide in Penang and Johor through grocers, retailers, restaurants and more, the organisers of this fair hope to introduce the authentic Italian experience to all Malaysians. To allow safe visiting and shopping, The Eat Healthy, Taste Italy Fair event takes place under the prescribed Government’s Standard Operating Procedures.
