As a famous Tokyo-based kakigori specialist, Sakanoue Cafe will be launching their very first store in Malaysia at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre shopping mall on 1st May, 2024!

Famous Sakanoue Kakigori From Tokyo Spotted In KL

With a flagship store that’s famed for 4-hour long queues in Tokyo, you can now taste what the hype is all about at Sakanoue’s soon-to-launch store at LaLaport BBCC on 1st May, 2024. P.S: They recently held a pop-up event in Singapore that had really long queues too, so you definitely wouldn’t want to miss out on this!

Featuring a wide-range of delightful kakigoris that are all crafted with elegant and adorable themes, think fresh cream generously layered on top coupled with heaps of flavoured shaved ice and fruit toppings. They are also known for their icy kakigoris that come with cute decorations like panda-topped kakigori and cat marshmallow characters.

Some of Sakanoue’s viral kakigoris include the Strawberry Ice Cake, Anko Cream & Panda, Sake Cream & Cherry Blossom and Tiramisu that are all as soft and fluffy as clouds! Take a bite into each refreshing spoonful that will comfort you with irresistible bursts of fruity, creamy and milky flavours.

Sakanoue’s Insta-famous kakigoris are even much softer and delicate in comparison to our local Ice Kacang that has a more chunkier texture.

Being a crowd-favourite among many tourists and Japanese locals, Sakanoue’s store in Tokyo would usually sell about 350 bowls of kakigori daily in the summer and the waiting time to enter would sometimes be longer than four hours during busy seasons as well. Yes, it’s that popular!
