Hello friends! The holy month of Ramadan is a symbol of charity and goodwill. The one month that everyone would be racing against each other to do good deeds. It is only sensible, that we give even more this year, as Malaysia is going through challenging times. Accordingly, F&NHB resolved to wholeheartedly give their support to the nation. An effort that all of us admire.
Over 1 Million Worth Of Products Donated
Recently, Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&NHB), through its iconic brand 100PLUS, vowed to contribute over 1 million worth of products to frontliners, underprivileged families and individuals. Not to mention, 10,000 families from B40 communities in all of Malaysia will receive provisions during this holy month. Wow! And these were all done under their ‘Tabahkan Hatimu, Sinarkan Ramadanmu’ programme.
Appropriately, the company will also distribute other food rations such as rice, cooking oil, flour, and oats. Meanwhile, additional necessities such as face masks, sanitizers and adult diapers were donated to families including homeless people, orphanages and old folks home. F&NHB will also include their products such as 100PLUS isotonic drink, and F&N SEASONS drinks in the contribution.
Sharing The Joy Of Ramadan
F&NHB Chairman, Tengku Syed Badarudin Jamalullail said, “Our ‘Tabahkan Hatimu, Sinarkan Ramadanmu’ programme aims to share the joy and blessings of Ramadan with the less fortunate community,” All the while celebrating our unsung heroes who are working tirelessly around the clock to safeguard our nation.
“We hope that our contribution will help them enjoy the comfort and familiarity of a hot meal when they break their fast,” Tengku Syed Badarudin continued.
Rising From The Crisis Stronger Together
Tengku Syed Badarudin also added that they are hopeful to spread the message of resilience, hope and happiness to Malaysians so that we will emerge from the current crisis stronger and more united than ever. Meanwhile, since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia, F&NHB has contributed over 200,000 products throughout Malaysia.
Strengthening Bonds Among Malaysians
Malaysian have always adorned their festive seasons with F&N products for as long as anyone can remember. The ‘Tabahkan Hatimu, Sinarkan Ramadanmu’ programme is part of F&NHB’s annual initiative to spread Ramadan cheer with the less fortunate community since 2004. Kudos to the team and hopefully this will help motivate more of us to do the same.
