You Can Now Opt For Contactless Delivery on foodpanda

As we all know, with the recent global pandemic of COVID-19, we should all minimize physical contact. Because hey, who knows if the person next to us has got clean hands, right? So, with foodpanda’s ‘Contactless Delivery’, we can all feel secure while using their service. It’s fairly simple how it works.

After making your payment online, just head over to the Rider Chatroom and inform your rider that you’re opting for the contactless delivery. Then, your food will be delivered to the doorstep of your home or office. This way, there will be absolutely zero contact between you and your fellow foodpanda rider. So convenient right?

But wait, there’s more. We’re also required to keep a safe 1-meter distance from our rider and to verify when our order is delivered to us. And voila! You’ve just enjoyed your very first contactless delivery service from foodpanda.

  1. Place an order and opt for online payment.
  2. Go to the rider chat function on the foodpanda app and inform the rider/customers that they are opting for the contactless delivery.
  3. Food will be placed at the designated dropoff spot at the customers’ home or office.
  4. Rider will notify customers that food has arrived via the rider chat function on the app or call.
  5. 1meter distance will be maintained between rider and customers.
  6. Customers to verify the delivery.
  7. Delivery completed!

Thanks, foodpanda!

In our honest opinion, this is definitely a good move by foodpanda in maintaining safe social distance. Also, foodpanda is urging us to opt for online payment instead of cash transactions during this critical period. With this, we can still enjoy our favourite food with no worries. Thanks, foodpanda!
