On 20 and 21 May 2023, Gamuda Land celebrated International Day for Biological Diversity Awareness, bringing together folks from across town through fun, family-friendly activities! This year’s theme was aptly named “Wonders of Wetlands”, as the focus was centred on understanding the beauty of our wetlands and the importance in nurturing them.
Gamuda Land’s “Wonders of Wetlands” 2023 Aims To Help Us Reduce Carbon Footprint
In lieu of Gamuda Parks’ 6th anniversary, this event was held to remind us of our daily habits that could help reduce carbon footprint which greatly impacts the environment. Thus as part of their biodiversity awareness campaign, plenty of exciting workshops, activities and contests were organised as an initiative for families and the general public to participate and learn about sustainability.

There were also sustainable door gifts for every individual at the event – we got a cute mini succulent!
Those who brought reusable shopping bags, bottles, containers and utensils were also able to redeem mystery gifts by L’OCCITANE, Starbucks & Uniqlo* in efforts to encourage the public to reduce waste.
