Government Is Looking to Ease Restrictions For Those Who Are Fully Vaccinated:
Earlier today at the press conference of Prihatin food basket programme, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that the government is looking to relax the movement restrictions for those who have already received two doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
“I’ve asked for relaxation to be considered for those who have received two vaccine doses,” he said.
This includes allowing them to travel or dine-in at the restaurant as part of the national recovery plan. Also to show that while we’re battling with the pandemic, we can gradually return to normal life.
Meanwhile, the national recovery plan will take effect until the end of this year. Prime Minister encourages the rakyat to be patient and confident that we can win this battle.
Muhyiddin also added that the national vaccination programme is a “light at the end of the tunnel” in the battle against the virus.
“We managed to vaccinate over 421,000 people in a day, and hopefully this can be maintained. Now, our focus is the greater Klang Valley. Through our targeted measures, we can deal with the Covid-19 infections better.”
