Hansang Korean Restaurant in 1 Utama or Pavilion mall is a Korean BBQ spot famous for their traditional Army Stew, or Budae Jjigae. It’s not often you hear of a Korean BBQ restaurant’s most popular item, a dish other than their BBQ! Besides that, you can find a wide range of authentic recipes like spicy stir-fried noodles on a hot plate, bibimbap, and even tteokbokki.
Must-Try Dishes At Hansang Korean Restaurant
Their signature item here is definitely the Korean Army Stew, Budae Jjigae, with a traditional recipe originating from Korea. It’s a spicy-sour broth with a pot full of spicy kimchi casserole with sausage, ham, pork, veges, ricecake, tofu and ramen.
Slightly sweet, spicy and flavourful – another popular dish here is the Chili Sauce Teppanyaki Pork. It’s stir-fried pork marinated with spicy gochujang sauce, with vegetables and ramen mixed together on a hot plate!
Although Budae Jjigae is their highlight, their Korean BBQ should not go unnoticed. You can get juicy grilled pork belly, Samgyeopsal, for RM28.90, or Beef Ribeye for RM84.90.
Pair your Korean BBQ with their Pork Bibimbap that comes with a variety of veges, pork and sweet chili sauce on a hot plate.
When it comes to side dishes, try out their Gimbap with ham, crab meat cheese and fishcake. Another interesting item is the Korean Sweet Bean Curd with fried rice!
