The IKEA x Byredo Collection Of Affordable Scented Candles Now Available In Malaysia

It makes sense if you’re caught off guard by the brand-new collaboration between the perpetually affordable IKEA and Ben Gorham, founder and creative force behind Byredo’s luxury fragrance, fashion, and beauty empire. And fortunately for fans who flock to Gorham’s olfactory prowess, the new launch is all about how home fragrances can make you feel that much more at home!

OSYNLIG Candle Collection Now Available In Malaysia

‘OSYNLIG’, the highly anticipated affordable and exclusive candle collection has finally made it to our shores! OSYNLIG, which means ‘invisible’ in Swedish, is developed in collaboration with IKEA and Ben Gorham. Featuring 13 scented candles, the collection is designed to evoke different emotions while reflecting the ever-changing moods of the home.

With carefully chosen quality raw ingredients, the collection is divided into three categories – fresh, floral, and woody. Affordably priced between RM24.90 – RM129 per unit, each variant comes in (3) three different sizes.

Unwind, Sooth And Relax

With a strong representation of a contemporary lifestyle, these unique candles from the OSYNLIG collection will allow more Malaysians to discover the correlation between smell and their homes. Whether they are planning to unwind, sooth different senses or prep for a celebration, it is no secret that scented candles can boost a certain mood.

Presented in hand-made ceramic pots, each pot is glazed with a blend of two colours that represent its ingredients. The triangle-shaped marking on each pot depicts one of the most popular ways people understand fragrance – as a combination of top notes, which you smell first; middle notes, which comes next and last longer; and base notes, which form the bottom of the triangle and remain for the entire duration of the fragrance.

Ensuring nothing goes to waste, the pots can be reused to store small items or as a decorative piece around the home. This limited collection will be available at IKEA Damansara, IKEA Cheras, and IKEA Batu Kawan from 25 February 2021, to be followed by IKEA.my from 1 March 2021. The limited collection will soon be made available at IKEA Tebrau.
