Hello, cinema-goers! We have fantastic news for you! After more than three months of waiting, we can finally go back to watching movies at the cinemas! In an announcement by Senior Defence Minister Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri earlier today, cinemas and live events can resume operations from July 1, 2020! Hoorah!
Cinemas & Live Events To Resume Operations Starting 1 July 2020
Senior Defence Minister Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri also said, these entertainment facilities must strictly follow the standard operating procedures (SOP) and regulations provided by the government. Social distancing rules (one-meter apart) must be kept at all times. And, there should be a limit on the number of people allowed to attend the cinema. But, this is all subjected to the size of each cinema.
GSCinemas Teases Netizens For Their Return To The Big Screens
In a Facebook post from GSCinemas, the cinema franchise happily posted a photographed with the words, “WE ARE COMING BACK.” And, it’s safe to say that everyone across the nation is equally excited to be going back to the big screens after so long.
