Jeremy’s Chicks is started by the team behind Urban Daybreak during Movement Control Order (MCO) to mitigate financial losses. “We wanted to create an entirely different menu, something that Malaysians will love,” says Jeremy, the co-founder. Once the team had the idea of serving chicken rice, Jeremy’s Chicks kickstarted by the end of March 2020. With the support of the community, Jeremy’s Chicks has quickly grown.
Starting with only poached chicken, its menu now comprises of poached, roasted, char siu, and fried chicken. Additionally, you will find ‘side pieces’ such as soup with bursting fish balls, kailan, and silken tofu with chicken floss and oyster sauce as pairings. On a bigger note, it has relocated to a cloud kitchen strategically based in Hartamas.
This Chicken Rice Seller Is Giving In A Wholesome Way
As a cloud kitchen, there is no dine-in for customers. With that said, Jeremy’s Chicks works with food delivery partners every single day. “We were really appreciative of the support we had received during MCO. It is time for us to help the community who had supported us,” says Adran, the co-founder. Unsurprisingly, it starts with the food delivery partners who had been working relentlessly.
How It Works
Jeremy’s Chicks will be offering free chicken rice to all food delivery partners as a token of appreciation. Whenever a food delivery partner comes along, they will be offered a box of free chicken rice on the spot or a voucher for it. In other words, whenever Jeremy’s Chicks receive an order, the designated food delivery partner will immediately receive a free box of chicken rice. Have it now or later, that’s up to the food delivery partners.
“We hope this simple act of kindness will go a long way in our community. After all, that’s our Malaysian spirit,” says Jeremy.
