1. Mee Tarik @ Chinatown

You might have heard of this place from TikTok or you might have seen how crazy the queue is outside the restaurant at Petaling Street! This Mee Tarik restaurant at Chinatown made buzz for its signature Mee Tarik (hand-pulled noodles) served in beef soup with succulent beef slices. It’s a soulful bowl of soup noodle that’s perfect to warm your body on cold late nights! Other than the Mee Tarik, you can get a variety of authentic Chinese-Muslim food like grilled meat skewers, chicken wings, and steam or fried dumplings too.

Burger is one of the best late night bites so we can’t leave out this gem! Bones Burger TTDI serves meaty beef burgers that are known to be super juicy and flavourful. The OG burger comes with their Tomato & Savoury Onion jam that made craze for how good it tastes! There are also options with Creamy Ceasar Sauce, and BBQ Tabasco Sauce you can choose from. Make it the perfect burger for you with the add-ons of Beef Strips, Special Lamb Patty, Pineapple and more! Another thing you will notice is their fluffy and glossy buns that look yums~

You’re missing out if you never tried having Nasi Lemak at night, especially at this famous queue-worthy Nasi Lemak Stall in PJ. Nasi Lemak Bumbung is located in the deep alley of old shop lots which makes the dining experience there unique. With the night sky as your bumbung (roof), patrons love to chill with friends here while enjoying their Nasi Lemak with big portions and thick mouthwatering house-special Sambal. The classic Maggie Goreng is also a favourite here.

10. Pudu Pasar Wanton Mee / Liang Kee

This over 30 years old stall in Pudu is where you go for one of the best Curry Noodles in KL. The best part is- they are operating until late night! Hidden in Pudu Pasar, this stall serves its Curry Noodles with rich ingredients like Siham, Char Siew, Pork Skin, Chicken, Tofu Puff and Long Beans. The curry broth is boiled with chicken bone soup for up to hours and added with some fragrant and fresh coconut milk to make the dish tastes thick and spicy. They also serve signature Wanton Noodles made with traditional duck egg noodles and it comes with their lip-smacking Char Siew too.

With Yan Yan A One serving Dim Sum from morning until midnight everyday, you don’t have to worry about waiting until the next morning to enjoy it anymore! You can also find other Thai and Western main and side dishes there like Duck Noodle Soup, Cream or Aglio Olio Pasta, Thai Style Baby Octopus, Ginger Salmon and more there. There are a few outlets of the restaurant that are open until late night so do check out the nearest one when you are hungry late night!

15. Chinatown Seng Kee

It’s a comfort food that has been around for more than 20 years. Other than the Claypot dish, their Stir Fried Intestine is also a perfect order for your supper.

Bak Kut Teh is one of the most comforting dishes you can get and you will really want to try having them at late night to warm your body. The bowl of herbal soup at this restaurant is served with tender pork belly, innards and their special juicy pork balls. The Steamed Fish is also a must-order with flesh that falls off the bone and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
