- CMCO in Selangor, KL & Sabah officially extends for another 2 more weeks, till 31st December 2020
- Other districts such as Seremban, Port Dickson, Johor Bahru, Batu Pahat & Kulai will undergo extension in CMCO as well
This just announced by Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in today’s press conference that the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Sabah will be continue till 31 December 2020.
It was previously announced that the CMCO was extended till 20th December 2020. However, according to the Healthy Ministry, the figures for the mentioned states are still relatively high.
For Selangor, all districts except for Sabak Bernam, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Selangor have returned to Recovery MCO (RMCO) since 6th December 2020. Ismail Sabri also mentioned that the CMCO has also been extended till 31st Dec 2020 for Seremban and Port Dickson as well as Johor Baru, Batu Pahat and Kulai.
Stay Safe & Remain Vigilant At All Times
Even though since the previous announcement of CMCO extension, many SOPs have seen a slight adjustment. Such as being able to travel inter-district and inter-state and no limit on the number of passengers in a car. But we still have to remain vigilant and adhere to necessary SOPs. Stay safe, peeps!
