No Smoking, Drinking & Vaping At Playground & Parks In Selangor
Being the first state in Malaysia to ban alcohol, cigarettes, and vape at public parks and playgrounds, the Selangor State government is implementing this new ban today. Offenders can face up to RM1,000 in fines if caught. This news was confirmed by public transport and new village development committee chairman Ng Sze Han.
Also in a statement, Ng encourages the public to be the eyes and ears of the local authorities and report any flouting of the law to local councils. This announcement was made in Shah Alam, on Tuesday, July 14th, 2020.
