And, we’re about to have a new addition tomorrow, Kam’s Roast, a renowned Hong Kong-style eatery that specializes in crispy, succulent roast goose. Kam’s Roast will be opening its doors tomorrow and this is their very first Malaysian outlet!
HK Famous Kam’s Roast To Open First Outlet On 8th October
Growing up, if you’re a Hong Kong TVB fan, you’ll often see succulent roast goose being served during special occasions. Also, let’s admit it, we’re all secretly dying to have a taste of this dish. Now, let’s talk a little about the history of Kam’s Roast.
Back in 1942, the late Kam Shui Fai started Yung Kee restaurant that’s famed for its roast goose. Fast forward to 2014, Hardy Kam established Kam’s Roast in Hong Kong and began to open more international outlets in Singapore (2016), Taiwan, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Additionally, Kam’s Roast was awarded 1-star in The MICHELIN Guide for 6 consecutive years since 2015. There’s a possibility that Kam’s Roast would serve roast duck instead of roast goose just like its Singapore outlets. According to a report in The Straits Times, the reason for this is that they couldn’t source a reliable goose supplier.

However, the roast duck is cooked the same way as their signature roast goose. You can also opt for the signature dishes like ‘Char Siu’, Crispy Roast Pork, Pipa Duck, and more. Or, you can also go for the Rice or Noodles combo.With its very first Malaysian outlet opening tomorrow at Pavilion, foodies, are you ready for a feast?
