The first ever drive-in cinema in Kuala Lumpur will be located at the Lanai parking lot beside MaTiC along Jalan Ampang. The organizers, M-Junction, has confirmed that it will be launched on 28 July 2020. The drive-in cinema will feature a nine by four meters LED screen!
The Drive-In Cinema Will Provide Bluetooth Speakers For Cars Without Aux Or Bluetooth Functions
Don’t worry if you’re driving an ancient car, because bluetooth speakers will be provided to you if your car doesn’t have Aux ports or bluetooth functions.
Two Screenings Per Day At 7:30PM & 9PM Onwards
According to the information provided to Malay Mail, only 50 vehicles will be allowed per screening. Sedan cars will be placed in the front row and bigger cars will be placed at the back. So, if you do want front row seats, drive a smaller car!
As for movie screenings, they have identified movies that people would want to watch over and over again such as Titanic or Crazy Rich Asians, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
