Put aside the crawling traffic jams, KL can be a pretty exciting place to live in. And, it seems like the rest of the world agrees with it. An annual global study revealed some of the top best cities to live in, and Kuala Lumpur has made the cut!
Kuala Lumpur Takes the No.8 Spot For Top Best Cities to Live in the World!
Recently, Kuala Lumpur has been named the 8th best city globally and the 3rd best city in Asia! According to the Expat City Ranking by InterNations, Malaysia’s capital listed as one of the top ten metropolitans.
In total, the survey involved 12,000 expatriates from 181 countries. Taking into account of factors like adaptability, quality of life and others, the study asked subjects about their opinion of each city.
InterNations also conducted a separate study, where Malaysia came in as the 4th top place for expats to live in. Based on their Expats Insider 2023 survey, Malaysia trails behind cities like Mexico, Spain and Panama.
What’s more, quality of life rankings in Malaysia has also significantly improved. Now, we stand at 29th position out of 53 nations, compared to 52nd place last year.
