We are so excited about this! Can you tell? Okay, sorry using too many exclamation marks, again. Anyway, Largest Durian Festival Will Be Happening In Genting From May Onwards.
Durian + Cold Weather = Best Thing Ever
We are no mathematicians but we are very sure that the equation right on top makes sense! As mentioned, there is going to be a durian festival and it is going to be the largest one in Malaysia up to date. You will be able to feast on different types of durian including Musang King (Grade A), Tekka, X.O, Black Thorn (Grade A,B,C), and of course, D24.
Are you salivating already? It is time for you to celebrate life with the King of Fruits! Genting Durian Festival 2019 kickstarts on the 25th May 2019 and it lasts until 16th September 2019. We are wondering how many durians will be consumed during that period! The festival will be happening daily from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. daily at Genting Grand Outdoor Car Park at Level 16.
You can enjoy super creamy, strong, and pungent fruit on its own. Alternatively, there will be other durian themed delights as well! Musang King Chendol and durian ice-cream will be available throughout the festival. Eating ice-cream during cold weather is the perfect combination. Grab a durian coffee is you’re looking for something warm. We will have it all, please!
Genting Durian Festival 2019
Although the name suggests that there will only be durian, other local fruits such as mangosteen and rambutan will be available too! Genting Highlands is no stranger to hosting durian festival, so, we are sure that the largest durian festival is going to be a huge success. Time to pack your bags, and head up to 6,000 feet above sea level to meet the King of Fruits!
