1. Aunty Christina’s Sarawak Laksa

@lanatir (IG)

Operating for more than 20 years, we’re starting off our journey with a rare gem. Yes, you’ve guessed it! It’s none other than the highly well-respected, Aunty Christina’s Sarawak Laksa restaurant in Sea Park. By taking a leap of faith and venturing out from a kopitiam stall in Lucky Garden, Aunty Christina brought her very own full-fledged eatery to life with authentic flavours all round. As a true-born Sarawakian, Aunty Christina focuses on staying close to her roots by serving up joy with her heart-warming and satisfyingly rich Sarawak laksa. Featuring fresh prawns, tender shredded chicken, bean sprouts and golden omelette strips, every spoonful will definitely be a rewarding outpouring of Spice Heaven.

Adored by locals, travellers and even Malaysian personalities like Datuk Lee Chong Wei, Datuk Nicol Ann David and Nigel Ng, Village Park Restaurant will definitely transform all your makan outings into legendary feasts. This famous restaurant is also over 20 years old and was established by a couple that shifted out of the music and fashion industry as they shared a strong passion for cooking nasi lemak. At first glance, you’ll always see long queues of patrons waiting in line everyday to demolish a piping hot plate of their steamed coconut rice, crunchy ayam goreng, sambal, ikan bilis and fried peanuts. Trust us, their viral ‘Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng’ will soon steal your heart (and taste buds).
