Local Artist Paints These 3 KFC Outlets To Commemorate Merdeka Day

Hello, foodies! We’re a few days after Merdeka Day but our heart is yet done with it. And just like many of us, some KFC outlets in Klang Valley has transformed into a beautiful place to commemorate 47th Merdeka Day and to celebrate their 740 outlets. Working together with local street artist, Kenji Chai, it’s time to welcome ‘KFC Cara Kita’!

Kenji Chai Transforms 3 KFC Outlets To Celebrate Merdeka Day

KFC 5 Jalan Barat

First introduced to the Malaysians in 1973, KFC holds a special place when we talk about fried chicken. The red signs and KFC grandpa, it’s all signature to the place. Different from any other KFC outlets in Malaysia, this time around, they’re here to introduce their 3 outlets with beautiful murals for ‘KFC Cara Kita’!

KFC Sri Hartamas

Collaborating with Kenji Chai, KFC has invited the local street artist to creatively express the common and unique traits of us as Malaysians. In hopes to bring all Malaysians together in different ways, the artist has painted beautiful murals in various KFC outlets in Malaysia. Namely, these beautiful outlets in Klang Valley are KFC 5 Barat, KFC Sea Park and KFC Desa Sri Hartamas, so give it a visit when you’re there!

Time To Cuti-Cuti?

Together with these murals, KFC has also recently launched their Cheezy Cheezy Malaysia combo with, Cheezy Wedges and a limited time special ‘Add-On’ side of D24 Durian Balls! Additionally, if you’re not in Klang Valley, you can visit these interesting KFC outlets too!

  • Greenlane (Situated in a heritage building with colonial architecture)
  • Stulang Laut and Tanjung Leman (located by the waterfront)
  • Taiping Lake Garden (filled with lush greenery and scenic views)
  • Nilai Square (First ‘certified green restaurant’ by local and internationally)
