Drive all the way to the airport to welcome your family or friend is great. It is indeed a very heartwarming gesture to show just how much you have missed them. If you have a friend or relative who is planning to return to Malaysia, here’s something to note. Starting from 3rd April 2020, all Malaysians returning from overseas will be sent straight to quarantine centres from the airport for a 14-day quarantine.

Upon arrival at the airport, the staff will arrange buses and quarantine centres for each Malaysian. They will then further proceed with screenings and testings for health status according to the standard operating procedures. And if the 14 days of quarantine has shown healthy data, they’ll be free to go home. So, if there is anyone you know who is planning to return to Malaysia, do let them know!

Alright, we understand there are some of you who might worry about your friend or family. But we recommend everyone to stay home instead of fetching them at the airport. Moreover, you can always opt for video calls or a short phone call to keep in touch with them. So, it’s nothing big to worry about or scared about! Above all, we hope everyone stays safe during this period!
