If you’re thinking of having a meal at McDonald’s today, then we have news for you. We know how satisfying a McDonald’s Large Meal can be but as of today, we’d have to take a pause on going large at McD. Why? McDonald’s is currently facing a French Fries supply cut, as announced on an official Instagram post.
McDonald’s Large Meals Are Unavailable From Today
At McDonald’s, you can always upgrade your Medium size meals to a large one. With this option, you’d get a Large Fries and a Large Drink to accompany your meal. More fries, the better right?
Unfortunately, from today, the 24th of January 2022 onwards, we would all have to put on hold our desire to upgrade our meals. McDonald’s has just announced via Instagram that they are currently facing a supply cut on McD Fries.
As such, all Large McValue Meals will be unavailable until further notice. In the meantime, Medium McValue Meals and Large Drink will still be available on the menu.

Before we go, we need to talk about the punny approach McDonald’s has taken to announce this outage.
“We are facing a fry-tening supply crunch on French Fries. But fret not. While you can’t Go Large for the time being, you can still enjoy your favourite meals and fries in Medium size. Time fries… It’ll be back before you know it.”

Yup, it sure is a Sacri-Fries we’d all have to make but let’s hope time really Fries before Large McValue Meals return once again.
