TL;DR
- All states in Malaysia, except Sarawak, will extend the MCO 2.0 from 5th – 18th Feb 2021
- SOPs of MCO 2.0 remain the same
- Interstate travel is still not allowed
MCO 2.0 In Malaysia To Be Extended
This just announced by Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob that the Movement Control Order (MCO) 2.0 will be extended from 5th February till 18th February 2021. This applies to all states currently undergoing MCO 2.0, excluding Sarawak. The MCO 2.0 at all states in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah was slated to end at 4 February 2021 (this coming Thursday)
All SOPs will remain the same as before, this means interstate travels are still not allowed. Operating hours of permitted businesses during MCO 2.0 will also remain till 10PM.
