Can’t get enough laksa? Need more of that sweet, spicy, yet sour stuff? We at KL Foodie are no different! Heck, my colleague was even smacking his lips at the idea of having some laksa for food that day. Question is: where exactly can we get affordable and delicious Asam Laksa that isn’t from the same kopitiam that we’ve been visiting for years near our work place and/or institution? Well, look no further, for MyLaksa in Wangsa Walk Mall provides that exact, perfect combo for all foodies who love laksa!

Penang Asam Laksa — Affordable and Delicious
First of foremost, we’ve got to talk about their Asam Laksa soup. After all, it is the soup base that gives the noodles that aromatic taste!
Boiled for over 4 hours, the Asam Laksa soup is (naturally) cooked with nothing but fresh ingredients acquired daily. With a Laksa paste prepared from 13 different ingredients, a strong taste of sour, mildly spicy flavour will permeate your taste buds with each and every sip, making you salivate for more.
1. Laksa Royal
Noodles in Asam Laksa soup accompanied by one whole egg, three large fish balls, and slices of fish, Laksa Royal will surely leave even the hungriest of souls satisfied!
2. Laksa Special
Noodles, a whole egg, and one fish ball, it’s for those who want to try a most of everything that MyLaksa has to offer, yet don’t want too much in their bowl. Perfect for first-timers at MyLaksa!
3. Asam Laksa
The all-time favourite at its simplest — noodles soaked in sour-spicy Asam Laksa soup, alongside their staple cucumbers, lettuce, and onions. A simple meal can make a happy heart, too!
4. Asam Fish Balls
Fish ball, fish ball, and more fish balls! Round and huge, it becomes amongst the most delicious-tasting big fish balls when pulled out from their awesome Asam Laksa soup.
5. Asam Snack
This would be my personal go-to should I just need… well, as the name suggests, a snack. Be it chilling, working, or even just strolling the mall, I would be content to hold this bowl in my hand and have a bite every now and then.
