You are probably wondering by now, why is Chow Kit part of the list? The posting began by stating that Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia’s political and financial hub, and it is one of the many reasons why it attracts many international travelers. One of the reasons why the list highly focused on Chow Kit is because of the openings of two new hotels. The first hotel, The Chow Kit, gives new energy to the area. Designed by Brooklyn-based Studio Tack, the 133 rooms hotel is a standout with one of kind exterior and interior. The second hotel, MoMo, has a social space known as the Playground that replaces the traditional lobby.

Let’s not forget about The Row, as it has been transformed from nightclubs to housing hip stores, art spaces, and eating spots. It feels like a staycation at Chow Kit over the weekends is in order in 2020! What do you think?
