We’ve frequented Mutiara Damansara several times now, but never thought to venture into this unsuspecting park that holds a hidden gem of a café! Serving Western-Asian cuisine, here’s a gorgeous Instagrammable spot that’s sure to surprise you in more ways than one.
Park 28 Is Where You Go For Western-Asian Dishes In The Park
Opened since last year, Park 28 has been residing in the depths of Mutiara Damansara Recreational Park – right next to IKEA. There are both indoor and al fresco seating here, with the interior oozing elegance and comfort, while the outdoors’ surrounded by lush greenery and a lake view.
Their menu focuses on an all-day dining concept, where you can find breakfast favourites, lunch go-to’s and of course, hearty dinner dishes. We were pleasantly thrilled to discover a plethora of Western fusion dishes, including a Haus Platter with salted egg prawns and more!
Here’s what we tried:
Aglio Olio Mushroom & Smoked Duck Breast
Creamy and delicious, this dish is perfect for pasta lovers who crave a hearty meal that’s packed with a generous amount of meat.
Spider Crab Burger
Okay, can we just talk about the size of that soft shell crab? Amazing! Topped with homemade chilli jam and cheese, layered with pickles and classic burger veggies; you simply can’t go wrong with this option! Plus, curly fries and coleslaw make for appetising sides.
Haus Platter
Now, sharing is caring so this platter is ideal for gatherings with your family and friends! Have your pick of some golden crispy fried chicken, salted egg prawns, grilled squid or tender lamb as you enjoy memorable moments together.
There’s also a 4-course menu available at Park 28! It comes with soup, appetiser, main course and dessert.
Beyond that, durian fans need to have a go at their Musang King Pizza made with real durian flesh. Talk about adventurous!
