In conjunction with the 214th Police Day, the Royal Malaysia Police through the Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT), launched the MyBayar Saman mobile portal and offers 50% Summon Discount From 25 March – 11 April 2021.
PDRM Launched MyBayar Saman
According to PDRM, the portal is a facility for the public to pay traffic summons faster. In addition, it is to support government policy through the Public Sector e-Payment Strategic Plan and the Government’s Online Improvement Implementation Plan End to End. Apart from that, MyBayar Saman was also launched in line with MY DIGITAL which is a government initiative to provide cashless payment options by 2022.
There are three steps that need to be taken to use the portal and the application, namely Registration, Review and Payment.
- Where through Registration, users need to enter the required personal information, fill in the OTP confirmation and login to the portal/app.
- Through Review, users can check the summons to be paid. A summons notification will also be displayed if there is a new summons. Next, the user can select the transaction mode on the Payment page to settle the summons.
- Register as a MyBayar Saman user through the https://mybayar.rmp.gov.my portal or an application in the Google play store or Apple store.
Summon Discount Up To 50% From 25 March – 11 April 2021
Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department also informed that in conjunction with the 214th Police Day and also the launch of this MySaman portal and application, a traffic summons reduction campaign of up to 50% until for all types of summons except:
- Accident Summons 2020 & 2021
- No Compound (NC) status summons Year 2018 /2019 /2020 & 2021
- Court hearing status summons (m)
- Lawsuit Related to M / Lori Offenses
- Dangerous Cut Summons / Q Cut Year 2020/2021
- Summons using emergency lanes Year 2020/2021
- Road suit during red light Year 2020/2021
- Cut suit on the double line in 2020/2021
- Exhaust modification-related suit issued starting 1/3/2021
