Pesta Kuantan 188 is back for a third year in a row with a new line up of international and local A-List artists Melly Goeslow, DEFAM, Black Hanifah and Dato Jamal Abdilla. This year’s festival expects 45,000 festgoers to descend upon Kuantan, Pahang.
Kuantan 188 has committed to a yearly festival for the celebration of the birthdays of The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah on the 30th July 2024 and his wife, Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah on the 5th August 2024 with a weekend of food, family fun, music, sportsmanship and craftsmanship.
A 3-day Eventful Festival To Look Forward To
Pesta Kuantan 188 will commence for three days from 10am to 12am on 2nd until the 4th August 2024 with other activities surrounding the tower, which include the highly anticipated Pesta Kuantan 188 Concert, K188 Challenge Ada Bran x Suria, K188 Fun Race consisting of 66KM Bicycle Race, 10KM & 5KM Fun Run and 3KM Fun Walk and more.
This year’s festival will launch three new major event activations, K188 e-Battle, Royal Pahang F3000 Powerboat Championships and K188 Cars and Coffee.
K188 e-Battle, the first amateur mobile game e-sports tournament held in the sky, consists of 256 players in collaboration with PUBG Mobile. The battle Royale mobile game finale will witness the winning team taking home a prize pool of RM20,000.
Royal Pahang F3000 Powerboat Championships would be the first series of powerboat races in Malaysia to receive patronage from The Royal House of Pahang and sanctioned by Asia Powerboat
Association that covers Asia region to organize races for F3000 in Malaysia. During Pesta Kuantan 188 2024, there will be two major races, a 1.5km circuit race and a drag race held at Kuantan River with international and local pilots.
K188 Cars and Coffee, we expect to witness a hundred and twenty classic to super car owners from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan as well as a Vintage Car display show along Jalan Besar.
The grounds surrounding the tower will see a total of 70 stalls, 40 local retail and F&B booths by Pasar Sera and Perhimpunan Kopi, 25 coffee festival booths and 15 main sponsor interactive booths.
