School is back in session and most people are back to offices, this only means one thing – heavy traffic once again. Of course, traffic jams are one of the many perks of living in the city. Good news, folks! Because a brand new MRT line will be operating soon so you could possibly save up on your petrol in the future!
Phase One Of Putrajaya Line Will Be Ready To Operate In July 2021
Recently announced by the MRT Corporation, the Phase One of the Putrajaya Line will be operating by mid-July 2021. It will be connecting Kwasa Damansara MRT station to Kampung Batu MRT station. Meanwhile, Phase Two, which is the rest of the line from Kampung Batu MRT Station to Putrajaya Sentral MRT station, will only be operational in 2023.
You can have a sneak peak at the almost ready Metro Prima MRT station that will definitely be a frequent spot for Kepong peeps! There’s also a bridge linking Aeon Metro Prima to the station as well as a Park N’ Ride facility at the station itself.
When the Phase One Putrajaya Line opens, you can easily interchange to the MRT Kajang Line or the KTM Port Klang Line at Sungai Buloh Station.
