Perak’s First Ever Premium Outlet Will Be Opening This Year & It’s Only Half-Hour Away From Ipoh

Much Needed Retail Therapy

Ipoh may very well be one of the top places we always consider going for a weekend getaway. Of course, the number one reason being its great source for delicious food that will never disappoint. Well, by the end of this year, we have even more reason to head to our favourite road-trip destination. Because there’ll be a brand new premium outlet opening at Batu Gajah, half an hour away from Ipoh.

Silverlake Brands Village Outlet To Open End Of 2020

Silverlake Brands Village – the first premium outlet store in Perak will finally be opening end of this year. According to Malay Mail, Perak state government has recently confirmed that the construction of the premium outlet will be expected to complete end of 2020. This calls for a celebration as constructions started back in 2017.

There’s so much that you can expect when the premium outlet opens. Since it’s built along the banks of a lake, you’ll get a peek at the majestic sunset view. Besides, there’ll be 146 retail lots, an expansive food court and 20 bazaar-type retail units for you to shop till you drop. You can also pay a visit to Lat’s “Kampung Boy” house that’s slated to open on the premises too!

It’s Finally Coming Along

In a recent FB post, the construction of the premium outlet is seen to be finally coming along. With building lots completed, there is a huge possibility that it will see through the completion at the end of the year. You may start planning a possible trip here next year. Of course, there’re other famous attractions nearby to visit when in Batu Gajah, such as Kellie’s Castle and Kinta Nature Bird Park.

Will You Be Dropping By When You Visit Ipoh Next Time?

This will certainly be a spot worth visiting when you’re heading to Ipoh next time. In fact, if you’re driving up to Ipoh from KL, you’ll definitely pass by it on the way. So why not drop by for a little retail therapy. You may even consider taking the train here next time as the premium outlet will be connected to Batu Gajah train station. How convenient!
